Secret MLM Tip – Your Company Website Is A Waste Of Space!

Do you want to know an MLM Secret?? Want to know why no-one is visiting your company website?? I was really excited when my MLM started using websites for each distributor!. We expected it to boost our home business, because everyone makes lots of money online dont they? We expected lots of customers to ‘come across’ our website on the internet, and prepared ourselves for an upsurge in business! We even paid for a recruiting website ourselves, which we thought may get us a trickle of interested leads.

Traffic to go to our website never really entered our head. I guess we had such belief in our product that we expected people to fall over themselves trying to sign up and buy! We were certain that with all the people online, and us handing out so many cards, it would definitely bring in results ! We certainly had results. I think at least half a dozen people put in their details. Most of them were a waste of time. And the other two were unqualified people who thought we were in the ‘get rich quick’ brigade!

But now we’ve got a secret MLM tip! Its funny to think back to that time, when we know so much more about the internet nowadays. We knew so little. Nowadays I find it amusing that MLM companies still pass out these sweet little cookie-cutter websites to their distributors. I understand completely that it is their way of holding on to the content of these websites. Obviously they do not want to be taken to court for their distributors over-zealous descriptions of their products benefits!

So my question to all you who are in MLM now is this. Do you realise that your company website is a waste of time? And do you know that you need to have your own website or at least a capture page, if you want to sponsor reps online? The problem is that search engines, such as google, hate company websites because there are so many of them all over the internet and they all have the same information. Therefore it will not rank them, so they never show up on the first page, where people might click on the link and visit your site. Search Englines prefer to have content which is original, and which is constantly changing. Company websites are stagnant. With no regularly updated content, they just do not rank highly.

Therefore if you are fishing around on the internet now, wondering how some people manage to sponsor other people online, your company website is not the answer. There is alot to learn, including attracting people to you, getting hold of their details, showing them how valuable you are and enrolling them into your business. All in all, you need a system to follow, unless you have a mentor who will show you it all, step by step. Because believe me, there is a pretty steep learning curve. However it is certainly worthwhile, as you can totally explode the number of people you enrol into your business!
